Good location, breakfast OK, nice atmosphere...

A little old furniture, The hote need some renovations

Location. breakfest was exelent , you have many choise what to eat.

Old fashon hotel with old fashon stuff, who are well trained, very professional and speaking all languages. Location is the best in Opatija. Beautiful terrace and cute swimingpool. Ideal for romantic people who wants to feel like living in the past.

Very old hotel so no luxury to expect. No air condition, no mini bar. But very charming still.

Hotel Kvarner is a Grand Old Dame. The location in Opatia is wonderful and everything in the town is walking distance. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The location direct on the seaside is magnificent. The room rate I payed through Booked.net was exceptional value for money.

The breakfast included in the room rate is not up to the standard I expect for such a nice hotel, then again at the room rate charged, finding a good coffee and a croissant elsewhere did not hurt. The hotel is showing its age and fully renovating the rooms would not go amiss (although; then it would become a great luxury hotel and I probably could no longer afford to stay there)

Location and staff. Also, breakfast is pretty good.

Rooms need to be reconstructed immediately. If there is no budget for complete reconstruction, they can just paint it.

Some furniture was too old and shabby (e.g. doors, windows and wardrobe). Also the bathroom didn't seem well maintained.

The furnising was very old.

nice localisation, spirit of time however need refreashment. anyway for 3 star hotel all services are on board

The bedroom was very much in need of a makeover. Paint and wallpaper were peeling off the walls in places. The furniture was cheap white painted and very chipped. I thoght I was booking into a four star hotel. The room would not even merit two stars.

Arriving at the hotel by car: a beautiful driveway up to the hotel. Parking space available at a reasonable price (45 Kuna I believe/ Euro 6) The hotel is a step back in time. Rooms are basic. But a great location on the waterfront, pool, nice breakfast and even a trendy lounge club (Tantra) nearby.

Location is excellent, immediately at the shore, own beach at the shore, very close to city center and Angiolina park. There are parking places as well that is an extremely limited supply in Opatija. On the terrace during the evening there might be live performances for free :)

Tiny room, noisy. Early morning expect to hear Coca Cola truck arriving, talking loud. Bed too short for taller people, double bed means: too simple beds. Need to pay for bed and umbrella at the own beach, No food drinkservice there neither. Dusty rooms: top of wardrobes were very dusty. Breakfast is so-so: cheap food, but so-so variety. Internet access: one strange pc, with such a high price tag you don't want to consider it at all.

Very satisfying stay, impressed with hotel and location, very good value, service etc was faultless, the only problem was that we had to leave. Great facilities around the hotel, will certainly return as we have a house in hungary.

- Nice room with a large balcony with seeview, we had the feeling we were in a old palace - We arrived late and missed the diner so they prepared a room service with several things to eat (in remplacement of the halfboard for the first night). - Nice welcoming, people of the hotel are helpfull - Nice swimingpool with see view - The "beach" of the hotel is a kind of little peer but the see is really great with sand. I would really recommend this hotel, we had a nice stay, it was beautifull

- bathroom is a little bid decrepit and need some renovation but is very clean and everything works - if you take halfboard, you cannot eat on the tables near to the see, they are reserved to people who eat "à la carte" - if you want a seat on the beach you have to pay 25kn more...
